H.S.Ruatagi & Co, Chartered Accountants. Our place is over at House Number 119 in the Police Colony on Ahata Kidara, right off Idgah Road in Delhi. We have been working from this office for quite some time now. It is a simple setup with a few desks and a lot of steel cabinets where we keep all the files. The street outside can get quite loud with the traffic from Idgah Road, but once you are inside the colony, it settles down a bit. We spend most of our days going through tax papers and checking audit reports for local businesses. It is not a very fancy office, just a workspace where we keep the calculators busy and the tea flowing. The walls are lined with thick cloth-bound ledgers that have years of records in them. We don't have a big receptionist or anything, usually just one of us looks up when someone walks in. The dust from the road sometimes finds its way in, but we try to keep the place organized enough to find what we need. It is a lot of paperwork, especially during the months when everyone is rushing to file their returns. We just sit here and do the math, one page at a time. If you need to find us, we are just a short walk from the main gate. It is a regular job for us, and we have gotten to know many of the people around here over the years.
