Hamraj Clinic

Our clinic is right in the middle of Chandni Chowk. If you know this area, you know how crowded it gets every single day. The streets are narrow and there is always someone shouting or a rickshaw bell ringing nearby. Hamraj Clinic is just a small part of this big, busy market. We open early because the market starts moving before the sun is even fully up. The space inside is tight, but we make it work. We have a few chairs for people to sit while they wait their turn. It’s mostly just white walls and the basic equipment we need. There’s nothing extra or flashy about the way we run things. Most of the people who come in are locals who work in the shops around Chandni Chowk or live in the lanes behind the main road. The fans hum all day long to keep the heat away, but it’s still pretty warm in the summer. We spend a lot of time cleaning the floors because of all the feet coming in and out from the dusty street. It is a loud place to work, but we are used to the noise by now. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure things keep moving. We keep our records in old folders and try to stay organized despite the chaos outside our door. There isn't much room for anything else.
