Frosttee Ice Cream Parlour

You can find us at Mori Gate Main Road E-2/7. It’s a loud spot with all the buses and cars going past the main road. The ice cream parlour is like a little escape from the heat and the noise outside. We have a few freezers that hum quite loudly, but you get used to it. I spend a lot of time wiping down the glass tops because kids are always putting their hands on them to see the flavors. We have the usual stuff like vanilla and chocolate, nothing too wild. Sometimes the freezer breaks down in the middle of the night and we have to rush to fix it so nothing melts. That’s the hardest part of this job. People come in looking sweaty and leave looking a bit happier once they have something cold. We stay open pretty late because the street stays busy until midnight. The floor is tile and it gets slippery if someone spills a scoop, so we have to be careful. My cousin helps me out on the weekends when the families come by. Mori Gate is a historical place, but our shop is just a regular building on the main road. We’ve been here for a couple of years now. It’s not a fancy life, but seeing the kids enjoy a cone makes it okay. We just keep the lights on and the cream cold.
