Bharat Fittings & Valves is located at 704-705 G B Road in the Kundewalan area, near Ajmeri Gate. This part of the city is very old and the streets are incredibly narrow and busy. We have a lot of different valves and metal fittings stored on high shelves. The air in the shop always smells a bit like metal and oil. We spend our time climbing up and down to get the right parts for people who come in. It is not a place for someone who wants a fancy shopping experience. The walls are dark and the floor is made of old stone. We have been in this spot for many years and we know the other traders on G B Road very well. It is a noisy environment with the sound of carts and people yelling in the market. We use a small desk near the front to do our paperwork and handle the cash. In the evening, the light in the shop gets a bit dim, so we have a few old bulbs hanging from the ceiling. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know where every single nut and bolt is kept. It is hard work to manage all the inventory, but it is what we have always done. Most of our customers are regulars who have been coming here for decades. They know exactly where to find us.
