We've been here at Kashmere Gate for a long time. It’s a busy spot, especially around Lothian Road. People come in when their cars act up or they just need a specific part they can't find elsewhere. The Bhagwandas Building is where you’ll find us. It’s not fancy. My father started things out, and we just kept going. Some days are hectic with the traffic and the noise outside. We mostly deal with engines and making sure things run like they should. If you walk past the shops here, you’ll see our door. It’s 2780/B2. We know the regulars by name now. Usually, it's just oil, grease, and getting the job finished so the customer can get back on the road. We don't spend much time on the computer or making things look pretty. The shop floor is where the work happens. Sometimes it’s dusty, and the tea guy comes by twice a day. That’s how it works here. We keep busy. If someone asks where we are, we just say near the gate. It's a simple setup. Nothing too complicated about what we do. We fix stuff and sell parts. That’s about it for Anil Motors. We’ve seen a lot of cars come through these narrow streets. Sometimes the parts are hard to get, but we try hard to source them. It is just a local shop doing its thing every day.
