We are located at 5, Gopinath Market, right in the heart of Khari Baoli. If you know anything about Delhi, you know this is the biggest spice market around. It’s incredibly crowded, loud, and smells like a thousand different things at once. Ahuja Masala Co. Pvt. Ltd. has been tucked away in this corner for quite some time. The shop isn't very big, but we use every inch of space we have. We’ve got bags stacked up to the ceiling. It’s a bit of a maze inside. We don't have a quiet office with air conditioning. We’re right there in the thick of it, dealing with porters, customers, and other shopkeepers all day long. It can be exhausting, but there’s an energy in Khari Baoli that you won't find anywhere else. We don’t spend time writing long speeches about what we do. We just focus on getting the best spices we can find and selling them at a fair price. We’ve known some of our customers for decades. They come in, we have a quick chat, and they go on their way. It’s a traditional way of doing business, based on handshakes and knowing people's names. It’s not always easy to navigate the narrow lanes here, but this market is where we belong. We just keep showing up and doing what we do best every single day of the week, no matter how busy it gets.
