Cadila Pharmaceuticals Ltd Agro Division Tissue Culture

We’ve been over here at 126, Barajonepur in Kanchrapara for quite a while now. It’s a busy spot, especially with the agro division work we do. Most mornings start pretty early at the Cadila Pharmaceuticals Ltd facility because the tissue culture stuff doesn’t really wait for anyone. The lab guys are always busy checking on the small plants and making sure everything is just right in those glass jars. It’s quiet work, mostly. You can hear the hum of the air conditioning and not much else when things are going full speed. Sometimes the rain hits the roof pretty hard here in Kanchrapara, and that’s when everyone takes a little breather for tea. We aren't a huge crowd, just a bunch of people who know their way around a plant and a petri dish. It gets a bit crowded with all the equipment and the racks of growing things, but we manage. People walk in and out, checking on progress, and there's always something to be cleaned or moved around. It isn't like those fancy offices you see in magazines; it’s a working lab through and through. We spend most of our time looking at roots and leaves, trying to get things to grow well before they head out. It’s honest work and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of Barajonepur. It’s just how we do things here, day after day, without making too much of a fuss about it.
