Tips Garments is tucked away in Amtala Adarsha Pally, over in the South 24 Parganas district. We also have our spot in the Metiabruz area at the Abm Haat, Goddi No. B-16 17. If you know anything about Metiabruz, you know it’s the heart of the garment trade. We spend our days surrounded by fabric, thread, and the sound of sewing machines. It’s a busy life. We make all sorts of clothes, mostly focusing on what people need for everyday wear. Our main work happens in the small units where the tailors are busy stitching away. It’s not a fancy fashion house; it’s a place where we produce real clothes for real people. The Haat days are the busiest for us. We have to get all the stock ready and move it to the stall. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and early mornings. We’ve been in this trade for a long time, starting small and just keeping at it. Sometimes we struggle with getting the right cloth or finding enough workers when the festival season comes around. It’s just how the business is. We aren't looking to be world-famous; we just want to make sure our garments are stitched well and people find them useful. The office in Kanhaiya Nagar is where we handle the orders. It’s a lot of work, but it’s what we know. We just keep our heads down and stitch.
