Wasil Unisex Salon

Wasil Unisex Salon is set up in Sector 28 right at number 16. It is a simple place where we handle hair for both men and women which keeps things interesting throughout the day. The shop has a clean look with white tiles but you can see where they are worn down near the chairs where we stand all day. We have separate sections so everyone feels okay while they are getting their hair done. It is a quiet part of the sector compared to the main markets but we still get plenty of foot traffic from the people living in the blocks nearby. The sinks for washing hair sometimes make a loud gurgling noise when the water drains but they work fine. We have a couple of big mirrors that take up most of one wall and we spend a lot of time cleaning the streaks off them. The scissors are always clicking and there is usually the smell of shampoo or hairspray in the air. We don’t have a big team just a few of us working the chairs and making sure the floor stays mostly clear of hair. It is a basic neighborhood shop where you can get a wash and a cut without any fuss. We open up early and stay until the last appointment is finished which is usually around dinner time. The chairs are a bit old but they still spin around just fine for the customers.
