Walk Ahead

You can find us over at G-101 in Sector-9. Walk Ahead is just a small outfit, really. We’ve been in this building for some time now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit, but our corner stays mostly the same. Sector-9 is a decent place to work. It’s not too loud, which is nice when you’re trying to focus on things. Our office is pretty basic. We have a few chairs, a couple of desks, and a lot of papers that always seem to need filing. We don’t spend money on decorative stuff because we’d rather just get the work finished. Most days are pretty much the same. We come in, check the messages, and get started. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which is good for the legs I guess. We aren’t trying to change the world or anything. We just provide what people need from us here in the sector. It’s honest work. We know the security guards and the folks who run the tea stall nearby. It feels like home after all these years. We don’t have a big corporate story to tell. It’s just a few of us making sure everything runs like it’s supposed to. If you ever find yourself near G-101, you’ll see us there, usually busy with something or other. That’s just the way it is.
