The Kailash Devi Company

We are located at A-391 in Sector-19. It’s a pretty standard industrial-style area, so there are a lot of similar buildings around us. The Kailash Devi Company is where we spend most of our waking hours. The building itself is nothing special to look at, just plain walls and a sturdy door. Inside, we have our desks and the equipment we use for our daily tasks. It’s usually a bit quiet in the mornings before the rest of the sector wakes up. We started this because we needed a way to support our families, and it has grown slowly over the years. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just do the work that comes in. Some days are busier than others, especially when we have large shipments arriving. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea, and that’s where most of our planning happens. The floor is concrete and gets cold in the winter, so we all wear thick socks and heavy sweaters. We know most of the people in the neighboring units, and we often help each other out if someone’s truck breaks down or if we run out of packing tape. It’s a very practical way to live. We just want to do a decent job and go home at the end of the day feeling tired but satisfied.
