Sunrise Exports Inc.

We are over at C 140 - 141 Hosiery Complex Noida Phase - 2. Sunrise Exports Inc. is the name on the sign, though it’s a bit crooked now. This spot is mostly about getting things ready to be sent away to other places. We spend a lot of time with packing tape and cardboard boxes. The warehouse part of the building is always a bit cooler than the front, which is nice when Noida gets really hot in May. We have stacks of clothes waiting to be inspected. Every piece gets looked at before it goes into a box. It’s tedious work but it has to be done. The workers here are good at spotting a loose thread or a button that isn't quite right. We don't have any corporate slogans or big meetings. We just talk over tea in the mornings about what needs to be shipped out by Friday. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in traffic in Phase - 2 and that throws our whole schedule off. We just deal with it as it comes. The stairs are a bit narrow and the elevator is slow, so we end up carrying a lot of stuff by hand. It keeps everyone moving. We are just a regular export house trying to do our job without making a big fuss about it. We’ve been at this for years and the routine hasn't changed much.
