You can find us in Ocean Plaza, which is right in the middle of Sector 18 in Noida. Our office is 401-A. It’s a busy building with a lot of other offices around us. Being in an export business means we spend a lot of time on the phone or checking emails. There is always some shipment to track or some paperwork that needs a signature. The plaza is always buzzing with people coming and going. We have a few desks and a lot of files piled up. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when we have a lot of samples coming in. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. It’s a lot of back and forth with shipping agents and customs people. Sector 18 is a good place to be because everything is close by, but the parking is a total nightmare. We usually just take the metro or get dropped off. The air conditioning in the office struggles sometimes when it’s really hot outside. We just drink a lot of tea and keep working. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s what we do. We focus on making sure the goods get where they are supposed to go. There’s a certain rhythm to the export cycle that we’ve all gotten used to over the years. We stay till late when there is a deadline. It's mostly just about getting the boxes out.
