I run this little spot over in Sector 41 at house number 18. It is not a big commercial salon, just a quiet place where I do my work. I started doing this because I liked helping people look a bit better for their daily lives. Most of the women who come here live in the same block or just a few streets away. I do basic things like eyebrows, facials, and simple hair cuts. I don’t have a lot of fancy equipment, just the essentials like my scissors, some creams, and a good chair. The room is painted a light color to make it feel a bit bigger, but it is still quite cozy. I keep a small diary to write down who is coming when, but sometimes people just show up without calling first. I try to fit them in if I can, though it makes the day a bit more hectic. The curtains are usually drawn to give some privacy from the street outside. Sometimes the neighborhood is noisy with kids playing, but inside it stays mostly calm. I’ve been at this for a few years now and I’ve learned exactly how each of my regulars likes their hair done. It is a steady way to spend the day, and I enjoy the chat that comes with the job. It feels more like a hobby that turned into a small business for me here in the sector.
