Swati Exim Pvt. Ltd. operates out of A-21 in Sector-64. It’s a standard brick building that most of us have been coming to for years. The mornings usually start with the sound of the metal shutters going up around 9:30. Someone always forgets their key, so we end up waiting a bit on the sidewalk near the gate. The office inside isn’t fancy. We have wooden desks that have seen better days and a water cooler that makes a loud glugging noise every time someone uses it. Most of our day is spent handling paperwork and checking on the inventory in the back. Sector-64 gets pretty busy by noon, so there’s always the sound of traffic and horns outside our window. We take our lunch breaks together, usually just bringing tiffins from home and sitting around the big table in the pantry. Sometimes we go out for tea at the corner stall if the weather isn't too hot. Dealing with shipments means things can get a bit chaotic when the trucks arrive, but we just get on with it. There isn't much to say about our history other than we've been here a long time and know the guards at the gate by name. The internet goes out sometimes when it rains hard, and we just use that time to tidy up the files or chat. It's just a regular place where work happens every day without much fuss or drama from anyone.
