Our place is located at A-61 in Sector 64. It is a standard industrial block, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside, we have rows of shelves filled with shoe components and finished pairs ready for shipping. We have been operating out of this unit for a good while. The office area is just a couple of desks shoved into the front corner near the main door. It is usually a bit messy with paperwork and leather samples scattered around. We spend most of the day coordinating with the guys on the floor and checking the quality of the stitching on the new batches. The machinery can get pretty loud during the afternoon shift when everyone is busy. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the whole driveway, and we have to go out and ask them to move so others can get through. It is just the way it goes in Sector 64. We do not have a fancy showroom for people to visit. Most people who come by are suppliers or workers. I usually make the tea in the afternoons for everyone when we take a break. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We focus on getting the shoes boxed up and sent out to the clients. It is a steady routine that keeps us moving. Some of the staff have been here since the very beginning. We just keep our heads down and do the work every day.
