Space Maker

Space Maker is located in Sector 63, which is a pretty busy industrial part of the area. We’re across from J 31, which is a landmark people use to find us since the street numbering can get a little confusing around here. Our workshop is where we spend most of our time, putting things together and figuring out how to make things fit for our customers. It’s a practical space filled with materials and bits of projects waiting to be finished. The name on the sign is what we go by, but inside it’s just us doing the daily grind. The floors are concrete and there's usually a bit of sawdust or metal scrap depending on what we're working on that week. It’s not the kind of place with a lobby or a receptionist. You usually just walk in and find someone at a workbench or moving stuff around the floor. The traffic in Sector 63 can be a real headache in the mornings, so we try to get in early to beat the worst of it. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the weather while we work. The address says Opp. J 31 a few times on the paperwork because people kept getting lost, so we just made it clear for everyone. It’s a functional place for functional work. We don't worry about being fancy or looking corporate. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay productive until the sun finally goes down.
