Our office is tucked away in the basement at C 213 in Noida Sector 63. If you are looking for us, we are right near Fortis Hospital. Being in a basement means we do not get a whole lot of natural light, so we rely on those bright overhead tubes. It stays a bit cooler down here in the heat of May, which is one plus. Mj Overseas Pvt. Ltd. is basically where we handle all the back-and-forth for our overseas shipments. The stairs are a bit steep, so you have to be careful when carrying heavy files. Noida can be a real headache with the traffic, especially around shift changes at the nearby factories. We usually start the day by clearing off the desks from whatever we did not finish yesterday. There is a lot of paperwork involved in what we do. It is mostly just us sitting around the computers, talking to suppliers, and making sure the labels match the boxes. Sometimes the internet goes a bit slow and we all just sit there waiting for a page to load. We have a small kettle in the corner for making coffee when the afternoon slump hits. It is a plain workspace with some old calendars on the walls and a lot of binders. We are not doing anything revolutionary, just making sure the goods get from point A to point B without too much trouble. It is a steady rhythm here in Sector 63.
