S. R. Garments

We operate out of F-18b over in Sector 27. It’s a pretty straightforward setup we have here for S. R. Garments. Mostly, you’ll find us surrounded by rolls of fabric and the sound of sewing machines running in the background. It's not a showroom or anything fancy, just a workspace where we get the actual sewing and cutting done. The street outside stays fairly quiet compared to the main roads, which we actually prefer because it helps us focus on the tasks at hand. We started this because we knew how to handle clothes and figured we could make a go of it ourselves. Some of the staff have been with us since the start, and we all just kind of know what needs doing without having to talk about it too much. Usually, the mornings are for sorting out the new materials, and then the rest of the day is just steady work until the sun goes down. Sometimes we run behind on a big order and have to stay a bit later, but that’s just part of the garment trade. We don’t bother with flashy websites or big signs with slogans. We just focus on the clothes and making sure the stitching is done right. It can get a bit hot in the summer, but we have the fans going and keep moving. It's just us at Sector 27, trying to do a good job with what we have for our customers.
