Strange Exports

We have been over here at B 39 for a while now. It is just a regular spot where we get things ready for shipping. My desk is usually covered in papers and some coffee rings, but that is how it goes when you are busy. People know us as Strange Exports. It sounds a bit funny maybe, but we handle a lot of different items every day. Sometimes the trucks come early, and we have to move fast. Other days it is just us checking the boxes and making sure the labels look right. The space here is not huge, but it works for what we do. We mostly stay focused on getting the packages out the door. It gets loud sometimes when the neighbors are working too. Most of the time it is just a lot of tape sounds and moving boxes around. I have worked here long enough to know where everything sits even if the lights are off. We do not do much fancy stuff. Just the work. The weather gets hot inside during the summer, so we keep the fans going all day. If you walk past B 39, you will probably see some of us standing outside taking a quick breather. It is a decent place to spend the day. We have some old chairs that we found years ago and they are still holding up. Sometimes we even have to fix the door handle when it gets stuck in the humidity. We just keep our heads down and handle the export side of things. It is not always exciting, but it is what we know.
