Kansons Overseas Ltd.

Kansons Overseas Ltd. is based out of B-58 Sector 2. It’s a pretty straightforward location in a busy part of the sector. We’ve been operating from this building for years. It’s seen better days, maybe, but it’s sturdy and it fits all our equipment and files. Sector 2 is always moving, with cars and people everywhere. We don't have a big flashy lobby. When you walk in, you mostly just see stacks of paper and people on their computers. We deal with overseas clients, so the day starts early and often ends quite late. It’s not the kind of job you can just switch off. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. It’s just export and trade work. Most of the staff has been with us for a long time, so we’re more like a family than a corporate office. We eat lunch together most days and talk about things other than work. The office gets a bit hot in the summer because the windows are small, but we have a few fans going. We don't spend much on decorating the place. We’d rather just focus on making sure the shipments aren't late. It’s a lot of coordination and double-checking everything. Sometimes we make mistakes, but we fix them and keep going. That’s just life at Kansons Overseas. We’re just a local business trying to keep things moving. We usually leave the door open for a breeze.
