Nutan Footwear

We have been running Nutan Footwear for quite some time now from our spot at C 142 in Sector 10. It’s not a huge place, but we keep ourselves busy with all sorts of shoes and sandals. If you know Sector 10, you know how it gets during the day. We spend most of our time here helping people find something comfortable to wear that doesn't cost a fortune. My brother and I usually open up early in the morning. We stock a lot of different things, from basic slippers for home to stuff you might wear to an office or a wedding. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded with boxes because we try to keep enough sizes on hand. We don't really do fancy advertising or anything like that. Most folks who come in are just people from the neighborhood or someone passing by who saw the sign. We like it here in this part of the city. The rent is okay and the neighbors are friendly enough. We just try to be honest about what we sell. If a pair of shoes isn't going to last, we usually tell the customer. It’s better that way so they come back next time. Dealing with footwear is a lot of work on your feet, ironically, but it’s what we know. We’ve seen the area change a bit over the years, but we’re still right here in the same block doing what we do every day.
