Gp Exports

Gp Exports at A- 33. Our place is A-33. It’s not a very big spot, but it’s enough for what we need to do. We handle exports, which means lots of labels and sticky tape. The sound of tape dispensers is pretty much the background music here all day long. We have a few shelves that are always full of various items. It’s just a couple of us working most of the time. We know where everything is, even if it looks a bit messy to someone else who walks in. A-33 is easy to find once you get into the right lane of the block. We have a small window that looks out onto the street. You can see the traffic and people walking to the local market for their groceries. We don't spend money on fancy rugs or nice chairs. We have what works for us. Sometimes the heat makes it hard to focus, so we keep a water cooler in the corner for everyone. It’s a basic office. We spend the day typing on the old computer and making sure the counts are right. If a shipment is late, we stay late to finish it. That’s just the way it is in this trade. We don't complain much because there’s always work to be done. It’s a quiet life at Gp Exports. We just want to get the boxes out on time and go home to have dinner.
