Santosh Footwear

We are tucked away in Gali No. 3, Mamura, which is over in Sector 66, Noida. It is a small street and sometimes it gets a bit muddy when it rains. Our shop, Santosh Footwear, is filled with all kinds of shoes, from simple flip-flops to school shoes and sandals. We have them stacked in boxes all along the walls. The shop is not very big, so it can feel a bit cramped when three or four people come in at the same time. Most of our customers are locals from the Mamura area or people working nearby in Noida. We don't have a big neon sign, just the shoes on display out front. We spend most of the day sitting on the low stools, helping people try on different sizes. The floor is usually covered in bits of cardboard and paper from the shoe boxes. We try to keep it swept, but it gets messy again pretty fast. It is a quiet life for the most part, just waiting for people to walk by and see if they need something for their feet. We’ve been in this gali for a good while now. We know the neighbors and the other shopkeepers around us. It is just a simple footwear shop where we try to have something for everyone who walks in. We keep the prices fair and just do our business day to day.
