You’ll find Rana Clinic near Labor Chowk on the first floor of a building in Deepak Vihar, Khora, Noida. This is a very busy part of town. Labor Chowk is always full of people looking for work, and the streets around Deepak Vihar are narrow and crowded with rickshaws and bikes. Our clinic is up one flight of stairs. They are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful coming up. Because we are near the chowk, we see a lot of daily wage workers and their families. It’s a fast-paced environment. The clinic is small, just a couple of rooms really. We keep things functional. There isn't much decoration on the walls, just some health posters and a calendar. It gets quite noisy with the horns honking outside, but we’ve gotten used to it. I’ve been here for several years now, and I’ve seen how much Noida has changed. Khora is still a tough place, but people look out for each other. We try to provide a reliable place where people can come without feeling intimidated. We don't have fancy computer systems or a receptionist in a suit. It’s just us and the patients. We write out prescriptions by hand and explain things clearly. It’s hard work sometimes, especially in the summer heat, but it’s what we do. The fan in the main room is quite strong, which helps a lot during July.
