Dr. Rakesh Prasad’s place is at 29 Noida Nilgiri Appartment. This isn't a big hospital or a busy clinic with dozens of nurses. It is a more personal setup located right within the apartment complex. Because it is in a residential building, it has a much quieter feel than most medical offices. The waiting area is just a couple of chairs in a small room. We try to keep things calm and orderly, though sometimes the neighbor’s dog barks or you can hear people talking in the hallway. We have been here at Nilgiri Appartment for some time now. People from the building and the surrounding Noida area come in when they aren't feeling well. We don't have a lot of high-tech gadgets or a fancy front desk. It is mostly just the doctor and a bit of basic equipment. The focus is on just sitting down and talking about what is wrong. We don't use a lot of medical jargon that no one understands. We just try to explain things simply. The office has a few plants and some old magazines to read while you wait. It’s a humble spot, and we like it that way. We aren't trying to be a major medical center. We are just here to help the people who live nearby. It feels more like visiting a neighbor than going to a cold, sterile office. We just take things one patient at a time and do what we can.
