Precision Tools & Dies

Our shop is at C-424 in Sector-10. It’s an industrial spot, so there are no parks or nice views around here. Precision Tools & Dies is mostly about metal and grease. We spend the day cutting, grinding, and making sure the dies are exactly the right size. It’s dusty work and the floor is always covered in those tiny metal shavings that get stuck in your shoes. We wear heavy boots and old clothes because everything gets stained pretty fast. The machines are loud, so we usually have to shout to hear each other over the humming. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a suit. We have a small table in the corner where we keep the blueprints and a very old calculator. Most of our work is done by hand or with the older lathes we’ve had for a decade. Sector-10 is a busy area with a lot of trucks moving in and out, so it can get pretty hectic in the mornings. We just try to stay focused on the piece of metal in front of us. It takes a lot of patience to get the tools right. We don't really do much advertising. People usually just find us by word of mouth or by coming to the unit itself. It’s just honest work that we've been doing for years and we plan to keep doing it until we can't anymore. We like it this way.
