Origin Technology

Our spot is at A-118 in Sector-63. If you know this part of Noida, you know it’s mostly just rows of similar looking buildings and a lot of power lines. We get into the office early, usually before the traffic really kicks off on the main stretch. The name on the board is Origin Technology, but inside it’s just us sitting at our desks with a lot of monitors. There is a small pantry area where the fridge makes a weird buzzing noise, but we’ve gotten used to it over the months. Most of the desks are covered in old notebooks and empty coffee cups because things get a bit messy during the week. We have a few windows that look out onto the street where you can see the delivery bikes zooming past. It’s not the quietest place, especially when the neighbor’s generator starts up, but it works for what we do. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the tasks we have for the day. There are about ten of us usually, though it feels like more when everyone is talking at once. The floor is that gray linoleum that shows every footprint, so we have a guy come in to sweep every evening. It’s just a regular workspace where we spend our eight or nine hours before heading back home to the city. We’ve been here for a couple of years now and the routine hasn't changed much.
