Om Furniture Wala

Our place is D-162 in Sector-10. It’s a straightforward shop. We deal in furniture, hence the name Om Furniture Wala. It’s not a complicated business. We have chairs, tables, and the usual things people need for their homes. The shop floor is usually a bit dusty because of all the wood. We spend a lot of time cleaning, but it’s a losing battle. My brother and I run the place most days. We don’t have a big staff. If we’re busy with a customer, the other one handles the phone or the deliveries. It gets pretty hectic in the afternoons. Sometimes we have to eat lunch standing up. We don't have fancy lights or a big showroom feel. It’s just a practical space where we keep our stock. People from the sector come by when they need a new bed or a stool. We know a lot of the families around here. It’s a nice neighborhood to work in. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit outside until it comes back. It's just the way things are. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town. We just want to do our work and go home to our families. If you need something, you can just stop by and talk to us. We’re usually around.
