Kut & Kraft

We’ve been here at B-26 in Sec-5 for a while now. It started as a small idea because we just liked making things with our hands. People around the neighborhood know us mostly by word of mouth. We don't really do much advertising. Mostly, we just sit here and work on whatever orders come in during the week. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cluttered with materials, but that's just how we work. We handle a lot of different projects, some big and some just small repairs that people bring in from their homes. It’s not a fancy place by any means. There’s usually some sawdust on the floor and tools scattered around the benches. If you walk past, you’ll probably hear the machines running. We try to get things done when we say we will, though sometimes things take a bit longer if the materials don't show up on time. That's just how it goes in this business. We know our regulars by name and they know they can just drop in. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us working in this space every day. If you need something specific made or cut to size, we usually figure out a way to do it. It’s a simple setup we’ve got going here in the sector. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit over the years but we’re still right here in the same spot doing what we do.
