Our place is at Plot No D 173 in Sector 10. Modi Durant Mercantile Pvt Ltd is the name on the paperwork. It sounds a bit formal, but we’re just regular people working here every day. The building is a standard industrial plot with a lot of concrete. We have a lot of crates coming in and out every week from different places. It gets pretty loud when the trucks are unloading in the mornings. Sector 10 is mostly other businesses like ours, so it’s busy. We spend a lot of time checking inventory and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the month. The office is just a corner with a couple of desks and a fan that squeaks when it’s on high. We don't really have customers walking in off the street much. It’s mostly phone calls and emails all day long to get things sorted. We’ve been at D 173 for a few years now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re always too busy for that kind of thing. We deal with various mercantile goods and supplies. It’s a lot of logistics and planning to keep things moving. Sometimes things get misplaced in the warehouse, and we have to spend an hour looking for them behind other boxes. That’s just how it goes in a warehouse. We work hard and try to stay on top of things.
