Shikhar Supplier & Contractor is located at Office No. 173- 174 right on the Main Road in Murad Nagar. Being on the main road means we see everything that happens in town. It’s a loud spot, with buses and trucks constantly going past our door, but it’s convenient for getting materials in and out. Most days, our office is filled with the smell of cement dust or the sound of laborers waiting for their instructions. We supply a lot of the basic stuff people need for building, and we also take on contracting jobs when they come up. It’s a lot of juggling. One minute we’re talking to a truck driver about a delivery of sand, and the next we’re trying to figure out a quote for a small renovation. The office itself is pretty basic. We’ve got some samples of materials lying around and a couple of desks that have seen better days. We don't really have a set schedule; we're usually here as long as there is work to be done. Murad Nagar is a tough place to work sometimes because of the congestion, but we’ve managed to make it work.
