M R Telecom

M R Telecom is located on the 1st floor in Sector 18. You have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to us, which keeps it a little quieter than the shops right on the street level. We’ve been up here for a while, and the stairs have that worn-down look from all the foot traffic over the years. Our space is mostly taken up by repair benches and shelves full of old phone parts and accessories. We do a lot of screen repairs and software updates for people who live or work around Sector 18. The light from the window is pretty good in the mornings, but we have to use desk lamps once the sun moves behind the taller buildings across the way. We keep a small stool near the counter for customers to wait, though most people just drop their phones off and come back later. The walls are painted a dull off-white and have a few marks where we’ve moved the furniture around. We have a small fan that wobbles a bit when it’s on the high setting, but it keeps the air moving. It’s just two of us working here most days, so we keep things pretty casual. We aren't a big service center with uniforms; we just wear our regular clothes and fix what needs fixing. It’s a decent place to work, and being on the first floor gives us a nice view.
