Joshi Sons

If you head over to Sector 18 and walk into Savitri Market, you will find us at G 32. Joshi Sons has been a part of this market for a long time. The shop is small and filled from floor to ceiling with stock. It has that specific smell of old cardboard and metal that you only find in family-run businesses that have been around for decades. There is a small desk in the corner where the accounts get done by hand in big ledgers. We don't use much fancy software for the day-to-day stuff. Most of our customers are people who have been coming to Savitri Market since they were kids. G 32 is a bit cramped, especially when we get a big shipment in and have to stack boxes in the aisles. We don't have air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that wobble a bit when they are on high. In the summer, it gets pretty hot, so we usually stand near the front door to catch whatever breeze comes through the market corridor. It is a simple life here in Sector 18. We know the other shopkeepers, and we often share tea in the afternoons while complaining about the price of things. We aren't looking to expand into some giant corporation. We just want to keep the shop running and serve the people who walk through the door at Savitri Market every day. It’s a living and it keeps us busy from morning till night.
