India Exports Today

India Exports Today is situated at C-66, Phase Ii Extension. It’s a newer part of the industrial area. We moved here about two years ago because we needed more space than we had before. The building is quite plain, just grey walls and a big metal gate. We do mostly export work here. We have a lot of crates coming in and out. The floor is concrete and it gets quite cold in the winter. We use a couple of electric heaters to keep warm while we work. There are four of us in the office. We handle the documentation and the scheduling. It’s a lot of emails and phone calls. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to sit and wait. We don't have a big corporate structure. We all just do whatever needs to be done. If the warehouse guy is sick, I go back and help with the loading. Phase Ii Extension is still developing, so there’s always construction noise nearby. It can be a bit distracting, but we’re used to it now. We keep our records in big ledgers and also on the computer. It’s good to have a backup. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure our daily tasks are finished properly. It’s straightforward work. We like it here because it is quiet at night when we finish up.
