Hardika Gulati Garments

Started the shop on the first floor here in Sector 9. It’s right near the Tata Service Station, so we hear the cars and trucks all day long. Sometimes it’s a bit noisy but you get used to it after a few years. We spend most of our mornings just moving boxes around and trying to find space for everything. The stairs are a bit steep, so we tell people to watch their step when they come up. We’ve got racks of clothes everywhere. It’s not the biggest place, but we make it work. Some days the fan makes a weird clicking sound and we keep saying we’ll fix it, but then we just get busy with a customer and forget. We carry a mix of things, mostly stuff people wear every day. My brother helps out when he’s not busy with his own work. We don’t have fancy displays or anything like that. Just some hangers and shelves that we put up ourselves a while back. The light from the window is nice in the afternoon, though it gets a bit hot in the summer months. Most people who come in live right around here or work at the station. We’ve known some of them for a long time now. It’s just a regular shop where we try to keep things organized, even if it doesn't always stay that way by closing time. We just do the daily work and keep the place open.
