Gyansthali Hire Secondery School

You can find us at Sd 04 in Sector 116, which is a developing part of Noida. The school has been part of this area for a while. We have students coming from all the nearby blocks. It’s a secondary school, so the kids are a bit older and the books are thicker. The classrooms are basic but they have enough light coming through the windows. Every morning there is a bit of a rush at the entrance. We have a playground space where things happen, mostly during lunch breaks. It gets quite dusty sometimes because of all the construction happening around Noida these days. The staff room is usually full of notebooks and tea cups. We don't have a big fancy office, just a desk where parents can come and talk to us about fees or marks. Our building has a few floors and the stairs are quite wide. Sometimes the power goes out, but we have a backup generator that kicks in eventually. It's a normal school day here, starting early and finishing by mid-afternoon. The kids wear their uniforms and carry heavy bags. We keep a record of everything in old-fashioned registers. It's not a complicated place. We just try to make sure there's a teacher in every room and the gates are locked when they should be. It’s just us doing our work in Sector 116. No more, no less.
