Aster Public School

Aster Public School is situated in the Hs-1 area of the Extension in Noida. This is a part of town that has grown very fast, and the school is right in the middle of all the new apartment buildings. We have a fairly large building with several wings to accommodate all the different grades we have. The playground is one of the main features, though it can get a bit dusty when the wind blows through the Noida plains. In the mornings, the yellow school buses line up at the gate to drop off the kids who live further away in different sectors. Inside, the hallways are wide and the walls are mostly white, giving it a clean but simple look. We have a lot of notice boards where we pin up schedules and lost and found items for everyone to see. The staff comes from all over the NCR, so the morning starts with a lot of people commuting in from different places. We have a security guard at the front who knows most of the parents by sight. The classrooms have standard desks and chairs, and we try to keep the windows clean so there is enough light for the kids to see. It’s a busy place with a lot of movement throughout the day. We don’t go in for anything too fancy; we just make sure the rooms are ready and the teachers are in place when the bell rings.
