Gopaljee Dairy Foods

We are over at 41-42 in Pandav Nagar, right on Kasna Road. Being in the dairy business means our days start way before the sun comes up. The crates of milk arrive early, and there is always a bit of a rush in the mornings. People stop by on their way to work to pick up curd, paneer, or just a liter of milk for their tea. The shop smells like fresh dairy, which I’ve grown to like over the years. It’s a busy spot because Kasna Road has so much traffic. We keep the fridges humming all day to make sure everything stays cold. It’s a straightforward operation. We don't have any big marketing plans; we just focus on making sure the shelves are stocked. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late, and things get a bit stressful, but we manage. My family has been involved in this for a while. It’s a lot of lifting and moving heavy crates, which keeps us fit I suppose. We know the regulars who come in every single morning at the same time. It’s a nice way to be part of the Pandav Nagar neighborhood. We also sell some bread and eggs because people kept asking for them. The tiles on the floor are a bit chipped, but we keep everything clean. It’s just a simple dairy shop serving the local people.
