Gangotri Creations

Gangotri Creations is tucked away in a flat over at A-1Bag Flat in Sector-66. It’s a bit different from having a big store on a main road, but we like it this way. Being in a residential sector means things are a little quieter than the city center. You have to navigate the turns in Sector-66 to find the building, and sometimes the parking can be a bit of a headache if the neighbors have guests over. We use the space to handle all our work, from sorting through fabrics to taking care of the paperwork that piles up. The room gets a lot of sun in the morning, which helps when we are looking at colors and patterns. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby. Usually, it's just one of us answering the door or the phone. People who come by are usually regular contacts or folks who live nearby and saw our name somewhere. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just organizing the shelves. It’s a small operation, and the flat can feel a bit crowded when a big shipment arrives and we have to stack everything in the hallway for a bit. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood, the sounds of kids playing outside and the vegetable vendors passing by in the evenings. It is a simple way of doing things, but it works for us every day. We don't mind the stairs.
