G D Goenka School is tucked away at A-56 in Noida Sector 50. This part of Noida is usually pretty busy, especially with all the cars moving through the sector. The school gate is easy to spot if you are driving down the main road. We have a lot of space here, but it fills up fast once the buses arrive in the morning. The halls are wide and usually smell like floor cleaner or whatever they cooked for lunch. It is a big building, so sometimes it takes a few minutes to walk from one end to the other. We see a lot of different faces every day. Sector 50 is a nice area, quite green compared to other spots, and we try to keep our grounds looking decent. It isn’t always perfect. The grass gets long in the rains and the paint on the benches peels after a hot summer. We just do what we can. Most of the staff live nearby, so we are all part of the same neighborhood. You can hear the whistle from the PT teacher all the way out on the street sometimes. It is a solid place to be. We don't spend a lot of time worrying about looking like a corporate office. We are a school, and it looks like one. There is paper everywhere and the sound of desks moving around as the day goes on.
