Design Duniya

Design Duniya is tucked away in the New Friends Colony, specifically at 167/8 in the Jullena Commercial Complex on Okhla Road. It’s right near New Friends Colony, so it’s easy enough for people to find once they get into the right part of the complex. The area is always buzzing with people going to different offices and the various shops nearby. Our space is a bit of a mix of things. We have our computers and some design tools, and there’s almost always a stack of papers or catalogs sitting on the corner of someone’s desk. It stays a bit noisy because of all the traffic on Okhla Road, but we’ve mostly tuned that out by now. We spend most of our time here just working through the tasks of the day. It’s not a fancy showroom for people to walk through; it’s more of a workspace where the actual work happens. We have some old chairs that are surprisingly comfortable and a clock on the wall that’s usually a few minutes fast. Sometimes we get people who come in lost looking for another office in the Jullena complex, and we just point them the right way. We know the guys at the tea stall nearby pretty well because we go there almost every afternoon for a break. It’s a good community feeling in this part of the city. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes our way.
