Creations Of Kumud

We are right on the Main Road in Sec 15, so we get to see a lot of what’s going on in the neighborhood. The traffic is pretty much constant from morning until evening, which means there’s always a bit of a hum in the background. Creations Of Kumud is a small operation, and we like it that way. We have our sewing machines set up near the front window to catch the good light. It’s a bit of an old building, and the door tends to creak when it opens, but we’ve never really gotten around to fixing it. We have rolls of fabric leaning against the walls and threads of every color imaginable scattered around the workstations. It’s a bit messy, but that’s just what happens when you’re actually making things. A few people from the local offices stop in during their lunch breaks to see what we’re working on. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing the work we know how to do. Sometimes we stay a bit late if there’s a lot to finish, and the streetlights outside make the shop look a bit different in the evening. We have a small electric kettle in the corner for making tea, which is pretty much essential for us to get through the afternoon. It’s a simple business, and we’ve been part of the Sec 15 community for a good while now. We just take things one day at a time and see how it goes.
