Concept Fashions

Concept Fashions is based over at D-8 in Sector 20. It is a quiet enough spot compared to some of the bigger industrial hubs, but we still have plenty to do. The workspace is filled with racks of garments and rolls of cloth that we’ve collected over the months. We do a lot of our own sketching and pattern making right here on the old wooden desks. The ceiling is a bit high, so it stays relatively cool even when the sun is hitting the front of the building. We have a few tailors who have been with us since we opened up. They know exactly how each machine sounds and when one needs a bit of oil. We don't put much effort into making the place look like a boutique because it’s a working floor first and foremost. There are piles of buttons and zippers in plastic bins stacked against the wall. Sometimes we lose track of time when we are trying to get a specific fit right. We don't have a big sign outside, just the address on the gate. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they know the area well. It’s a practical space for practical people. We focus on the garments and leave the fancy talk to others. It’s just us, some fabric, and the daily grind of making things without any fuss.
