Karol Bagh is a crowded area, especially around Gurudwara Road. We are at 2459/10 in Bedonpura. Our office is where we sit and type out resumes for people. A lot of folks come in because they want a better job and they don't know how to put it on paper. We just listen to what they’ve done and try to write it down clearly. The computers are a bit old but they work fine for what we need. You can hear the traffic outside all day long. It never really gets quiet here. Sometimes someone brings us a resume that’s just a handwritten note on a piece of scrap paper. We spend a lot of time fixing spelling and making sure the dates look right. It’s just us sitting at the desks, drinking water, and clicking away on the keyboards. The Gurudwara is close by, so you can hear the prayers sometimes in the morning. It’s a busy street with lots of shops selling clothes and food. We don’t have a fancy waiting room, just a few plastic chairs for people to sit while they wait for their printouts. It’s a humble setup but it serves the purpose. People come from all over the city because Karol Bagh is easy to reach by metro. We stay late most days just to finish up and get the files sent out to everyone who visited us during the day. It is just regular work for us here.
