Classic Saloon

You can find us at Shop No1 in Sector 110, right near the Kamboz Hotel. It’s a pretty busy corner here in Noida. We started this saloon because we saw a lot of people needed a place that wasn't too expensive or too fancy. It’s just a straight-up place to get your hair cut. We have three chairs, though usually only two are working at a time. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a relief in the Noida summers. We handle all sorts of hair, from kids who can't sit still to the elderly gentlemen who want everything just right. We don't spend money on big ads or anything. Most of our customers come because they live in the apartments nearby or they're staying at the hotel and need a quick tidy up. We have a little television that’s usually on a news channel or a cricket match. It helps pass the time when there’s a line. The sink for washing hair is in the back, it’s a bit cramped but it works. We’ve had some of the same staff for years, so we’re more like a small group of friends than coworkers. We just do our job and go home. If you need a shave or a trim, we’re usually open until late evening. There is usually some water available if you're thirsty.
