Amar Saloon

Our saloon is set up in Beta 1 of Greater Noida, right near the Authority building in Rampur Jagir. It’s a growing area and things have changed a lot since we first started. We’re in a spot that’s easy to find if you’re around the 201310 zip code. The shop is pretty basic. We have a couple of chairs that have been with us for a long time and some shelves for our combs and oils. People coming from the Authority offices or living nearby in Beta 1 stop in throughout the day. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long. It’s a friendly place. We talk about the local news or the new buildings going up nearby. The mirrors are a bit old and the tiles are slightly chipped in one corner, but it doesn't bother anyone. We just focus on the haircut. It’s honest work. Sometimes the afternoons get hot, so we sit by the door to catch a breeze. We aren't trying to be one of those fancy malls salons. This is just Amar Saloon, a place where you can get a quick trim and a bit of conversation. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a bit and plan to stay here as long as people keep coming through the door. It is a simple routine that works for us and the people who live around here.
