Classic Hair Saloon

You can find us at Shop No 7, right on the Front Main Road in Sector 110. We are quite close to the HDFC Bank, so people often stop in after they finish their banking. Noida has changed a lot, but this corner stays pretty much the same. Our shop is a straightforward place. We have three chairs and a small bench for waiting. It gets pretty crowded on Sunday mornings, almost like a little club with all the men talking. We do basic haircuts, beard trims, and the occasional head massage if someone is feeling tired. The mirrors are large and we keep them wiped down so you can see what’s going on. We don't use any of those loud electric clippers if we can help it; we prefer the old-fashioned way with scissors. It takes a little longer but it looks better. My assistant is a young guy from the village who is learning the trade. He’s good at keeping the combs clean. We don't have a website or anything like that. If you want to know if we are open, you just have to walk by. The street noise is quite loud because of the traffic going toward the main market, but you get used to it. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a decent living and we like the regulars who come by every month. It feels like home to us after all these years.
