Anil Pan Shop

Anil Pan Shop is right on the Faridabad City Main Road at Shastri Colony 1-253. Being on the main road means it is always very noisy outside. I have been sitting here at this shop for many years now, just watching the traffic go by all day. There is a lot of dust and the sound of horns, but you eventually get used to it after a while. The shop itself is quite small, just enough for me to reach everything I need without having to move around too much. People from Shastri Colony come by often, and travelers on the main road stop their bikes for a quick minute. I know most of the regulars by their names or at least by what they usually like to buy. It is a very simple routine for me. I open up the shutters early, clean the glass cases, and then wait for the first customer to show up. Sometimes the sun hits the front of the shop directly, so I have to hang up a piece of cloth to get some shade. We do not have a big team or anything like that, it is usually just me here. It is honest work and it keeps things going at home. You see all kinds of people on the main road. Some are in a big hurry, and some want to chat for a bit about the news.
