Anand Regional Co-Operative Oilseeds Growers Union Limited

Our office is at 22/2 Thana Road, over in the Gautam Puri area. We are quite easy to spot because we are right near the SBI Bank. Being a co-operative, things work a bit differently here at the Anand Regional Co-Operative Oilseeds Growers Union Limited. It's not like those big private companies. We have a lot of members and farmers who come in and out to talk about their oilseeds. The building is a bit older, with tall ceilings and heavy wooden doors. Thana Road can get quite congested during bank hours, so it’s always lively outside. We spend our days going over reports and meeting with the growers. There is always a stack of paperwork on the desks, and the smell of tea is usually in the air. We don't have any marketing experts or polished PR people. We just focus on the work that needs doing for the union. Gautam Puri is a busy neighborhood, and we’ve been a part of it for a long time. People know us as the place near the bank where the oilseed business happens. It’s a lot of coordination and talking to different people every day. We don't try to look fancy; the office is just functional and filled with people who have been doing this for years. We keep things simple and follow the rules of the co-operative because that is what matters most to our members.
